When you decide to worship at First Congregational, there are some things that you should know! First of all, don't worry about what to wear. It's the last thing on anybody else's mind, and it's the last thing you need to worry about!

You can enter the building through the main door on Cooper Avenue and enter the sanctuary directly.(Or you can park on the Blythe side of the church and enter the sanctuary by walking up the ramp. When you get inside, the sanctuary will be to your left and classes will be to your right.)

When you enter the sanctuary, you'll see people setting up for "Cafe Congo"--our church coffee hour that begins at 10:00. You can find information about the church there, too. Our worship service will start at 10:30.

We have classes for kids and for adults that start before worship, at 9:45 on Sunday morning. These are very informal and we welcome first-time visitors. Classes are usually held in the middle building, in the classroom across the hall from the Global Goods store and down the hall from the church offices.

At worship, we won't single you out as a visitor, although we appreciate knowing if it's your first time to worship with us. (You can talk to Cheryl or talk to someone at the "Congo Info" table in the Cafe Congo area.) You'll have the opportunity to fill out and turn in a "Congo Connections" sheet that puts your name on our mailing list, requests information, or asks to have a staff member call you.

Our worship service will last just over an hour. There's nursery care from 9:45 - noon, and kids can share in the worship service for a few minutes until the Children's Sermon. After that, they are taken downstairs for activities while the worship service continues for adults.
