Holding Space for the Holy Now | May 4, 2025

Have you argued with someone about how exactly a set of events unfolded – who said what, who did what, and when? Or, do you ever look back at how things “used to be” and long for that simpler or better or more joyful time? On Sunday, we continue further into this season’s worship theme, “Seeking Easter Everywhere,” by looking at the spiritual pitfalls of nostalgia and fantasy. We look at a miraculous reunion with the resurrected Jesus and consider the gift he leaves his friends, and all of us, as we set out to encounter the power of new life.
