We often think of joy and happiness as two different versions of the same positive feeling. This third Sunday in Advent, as we come together for our annual NO-Rehearsal Christmas Pageant, we consider whether joy is something more than just a feeling. We consider the ways in which joy is a practice, and we will look at what the Christmas pageant itself might teach us about how to practice it.
