Needs with No Time to Wait | November 23, 2025
"What do you need?" When you read those four words, what tone of voice comes to mind? Is it a tone of kindness and sincerity? Or, is it a tone of impatience and exasperation? Do you hear judgment? Do you hear love? In many ways, the strength of any community stems from how well its members share their needs - it's about whether people reach out in times of difficulty or choose to keep their troubles private out of a sense of fear or shame. It's about whether folks are willing to hold each other's needs, even if they can't always fix each other's problems. This Sunday, we gather to reflect on what it means to be a community of regular, fallible, fragile people who boldly endeavor to hold one another with hope, courage, and faith.
