One Wild and Precious Life | September 6, 2026

This week begins a new season in the life of our church - the Season of Creation! Amidst storms and predators and all kinds of disasters, Jesus gives us peculiar work. Rather than say "fight" or "flee" or "strategize," Jesus uses words like "ask" and "knock." He gives us odd commandments like "consider the lilies" and "look at the birds." This Sunday we take a look at some of these words and commandments as we consider how the natural world was for Jesus not only a way to satisfy practical needs but was, also, a resource for spiritual--and even social--transformation.
