"If you died tonight, would you go to heaven?" It's a question many of us have been asked. It might have come from someone knocking at your door holding a pamphlet and clipboard. It might have come on a billboard you saw while driving down I-40. However and wherever the question came, its goal was the same: to help a prospective non-believer along their path to conversion. This Sunday we will think together about conversion, but not in the typical way. Instead, we will consider how "conversion" figures into God's work in our lives and in the world, far beyond a change in beliefs. As we continue in our Lenten worship series focused on "stepping forward while looking back," we will explore God's power to transform our lives and to set us free.
