This isn’t what any of us had planned. We had planned for a vibrant worship service, complete with inspiring music and hopeful words and a time of welcoming new members. We had planned for Bible study and children’s church and an annual meeting-potluck in which we celebrated what we had accomplished and looked to where we are going. Instead, we’re snowed in and trying to stay warm. Instead, the purpose we had envisioned for this Sunday had to be reimagined.
